Animated Creative is an independent creative studio operating principally from Mid-Ulster, with a creative presence in New Zealand. We maintain office addresses in Belfast and Dublin for compliance and legal purposes. We are the data controller for any personal information you share with us through this site. This notice explains what we collect, how it is processed, and how to exercise your rights under UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
We keep collection to a minimum and hold only what is necessary for the purpose at hand.
A small number of trusted providers help us operate the site and mailing list. None of them are used for advertising or behavioural profiling.
Two of these providers (Buttondown and Cloudflare) are based in the United States. Transfers to them are made under data-transfer safeguards recognised by UK and EU law, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (with its UK Extension where applicable) and Standard Contractual Clauses, as appropriate to each provider.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising.
This site itself does not set first-party cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless privacy-first tool that records anonymous, aggregate visit data (page views, referrers, country of visit, device class) so that we can understand how the site is used. No personal data is stored at the individual level and no information is shared with third parties. We do not run advertising or social-media tracking pixels. Third-party content embedded on this site may set its own cookies; the only such embed currently in use is described below.
Our work includes video content delivered through YouTube, with more planned. Nothing from YouTube loads when you simply view a page: the player is requested only when you click to play a video. At that point, and only then, YouTube may set cookies on your device, receive information about your visit, and record view and watch-time data. We rely on this data to operate the channel, including for future monetisation. This processing is governed by Google's own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
